ABOUT
The Southwest Energy Institute is a part of the Petroleum Industry Education (PIE) a 501 (C) 3 organization that exists solely to provide education for the industry through the Institutes. Profits are used to provide scholarships, pay for future short courses, and establish programs like the NGCT, a natural gas compression training program initiated by PIE at Seward County Community College and CNG4Kansas, an effort to bring to Kansas an awareness of the benefits of compressed natural gas as a fuel source for transportation. CNG4Kansas meetings continue to meet throughout the state with the hopes of opening CNG stations in the state of Kansas.
The Southwest Energy Institute Planning Committee, formally the Gas Compressor Institute and Measurement & Pipeline Institute, has brought new concepts and training to the Midwest for the last 65 years. Proceeds from each Institute are used exclusively for the expenses of the Institute, scholarships and PIE programs.
Our Institute offers the opportunity to explore new ideas and advancements in the field of gas compression and measurement and pipeline. The Institute affords your business the opportunity to promote your goods and services to a targeted area.
